WHO ARE WE?

Established in September 2009, The Rubicon serves as a dynamic platform for the creative expression of Troy University's student body. Evolving from earlier iterations, this literary journal represents the latest embodiment of the English Department's commitment to artistic exploration.

Our mission as a club is to provide a distinguished platform for emerging writers, poets, artists, photographers, and composers to showcase their work to a broader audience. We deeply value the transformative power of storytelling and the pivotal role creativity plays in shaping our cultural landscape.

Comprising seven Chiefs and a dedicated General Staff, our team collaborates across various genres and mediums to elevate The Rubicon's presence and impact. Through our annual publications, events, and workshops, we aspire to inspire and empower the next generation of artists, fostering an inclusive community where creativity flourishes without constraints.
